echnology captivated me at a young age. Always taking things apart, trying to figure out how something worked. I began learning programming in grade school and haven't stopped coding ever since.
Where others didn't see the necessity of computers, I always looked for any opportunity I could to use them in everyday life throughout school, my career and beyond.
For over 20 years I have been working with a team of experts to deliver top quality solutions to clients from small to enterprise, government, and even non-profits.
My team and I can't imagine life without technology but we also believe in balance. We know that sometimes you need a little more than pen and paper to execute and we're experts at keeping it all in perspective.
Throughout my career I could never simply perform a task without considering how I could use the computer to do the work more efficiently. I admit there have even been times where that drive for efficiency displaced the work of colleagues. Writing code that could do the work of many people in mere fractions of the normal time is a great thing for management but not always for your colleagues. This continual need to improve efficiency progressively drove my career into software engineering!
Writing code was never enough. I needed to find ways to connect people with technology. I needed people to see what I could. I needed people to experience the efficiency that software and automation can bring to the table. Giving people back their time to focus on areas of work truly deserving of their talent and eliminating the tedious has been my specialty ever since.
For software to be great you must also balance with beautiful design. People are attracted to beautiful design and want things to be simple and naturally intuitive. Along the way I learned I would need to be a great designer as well as a programmer to achieve my goals.
Careful planning and well executed design allows us to connect people with technology today like never before in the past. Look at smart phones or even touch computing as examples. Great software with beautiful design can revolutionize entire industries and bring technology to the masses changing the world along the way!
